The Charlotte Naughton: Young Golfer of the Year Award nominations
To honour the stellar success of Charlotte and to inspire junior players a new award will be launched in 2026 - the Charlotte Naughton: Young Golfer of the Year. The award will recognise achievement, dedication, and sportsmanship.
Charlotte will assess nominations and will be looking for nominees who have demonstrated:
• Improvement and skill development throughout the season
• An exemplary attitude and sportsmanship, both in training and competition
• A commitment to club activities and positive representation of the club
• The potential for future contribution to the sport
• A passion for volunteering/assisting/Young Ambassador in golf
• A successful year with achievements.
All nominee must be under the age of 21 on the date the nominations close and be an affiliated member of a Northumberland Club. Charlotte’s decision will be final.
Nominations will open on September 1st and close on October 9th, and nominees can be proposed by Clubs, Club members, Coaches or a member of the wider community and submissions should be sent via an email of no more than 500 words to:
